Nice interpretation of a John Rupp, Mark.  He and Jacob Kuntz had a lot in common; so much so that I'm sure there was a close relationship between the two.  Their patchbox and engraving treatment is outstanding and yours is a great tribute.

Very nice in all respects. Kuntz and Rupp must have like to carve that particular pattern behind the cheek as so many of their guns have it or a variation of it.
