First timer to Dixon's Gun Fair
« on: August 10, 2013, 07:48:21 AM »
Just really started getting into BP in the last year. Found out about Dixon's Gun Fair and spent friday there, would have spent all weekend if I could! This was easily one of the coolest events I have ever been to in my life. EVEYONE there was great to talk to and learn from. There was noone who would not answer the many questions I had and or let me fondle their wares.  I would like to thank Nate Mchenzie, Bob King, and John from ALR  personaly for talking with me for along time and furthing the addiction  ;D

The pics I was able to take when not drooling and mesmerized.

And a video of the barrel rifling.

Great pictures!
Thank you for posting them.
I was there Friday & Saturday, took a "few" pictures, and missed many that I wish I had have taken.
I will review your pictures many times. Thank you!
Fred

Dixon's is always fun.  You gotta be careful what you fondle, however, you never know what you may go home with!  :D

I hear that one of Nates guns would have gone home with me if the wife wouldn't kill me.

Mustang,

I am honored to be able to further the ascent of another unsuspecting sole upto the lofty heighs of  blackpowder delight.  You too, can let in a barrel with simple hand tools!  And, of course, that is the halmark of true insanity.  I love it and am proud of it!

You are most welcome!

Best Regards,

John (from ALR) Cholin
