This old horn
« on: August 20, 2013, 10:00:00 AM »
Over the last 5 yrs or so, I have been latching onto old horns when I run across them.
I thought perhaps some on the ALR may like to see a few.
These three where picked up last week in MO and WI.

The largest one is unique in that,it has a female thread in the tip,but no butt plug.maybe it is just unfinished?? It also has some scrim designs I believe where applied with a gouge.

Comments,discussions most welcome.

I wonder if the largest one had a mouthpiece at one time and was a hunting horn?..
