Most of the early settlers in Tennessee got their land as land patents for revolutionary war service. I'm related to the Brown's, Neal's and Wilson's. All but the Wilson's got patents for land after the war, and settled in Tennessee.
I can't seem to see any pictures of this rifle, am i just special or what.

Thanks Wade and Randy. Wonderful rifle. I'd like to see more pics, like of the lock, if available.

one of the pics that Randy had put on the hosting site was the lock, but it wouldn't show up.  could see the thumbnail, but no larger version.

AS i don't know the hosting site, i strongly suggest that folks copy those images above (as well as any other images you want to KEEP) and don't depend on the links being good for all time.

I don't mind helping when i can (and on my slack schedule).  ;D
