Miquelet lock on ebay
« on: November 12, 2013, 02:33:30 AM »
This may already be posted on the forum somewhere, but if so I missed it.

Ignore the "Hawken Renegade" in the URL. This is some sort of Miquelet, but not something that I am familiar with.

PS: I'm not the one selling it. No relation to the seller.

I remember seeing some of these odd looking locks in the shop of E.M.Farris in the mid 1950's and I will say this. They produced white hot sparks bordering on flames. I think he got $10-$12 each for them.

I've had an auto alert for "Miquelet Lock" on ebay forever and virtually never get anything. Then a nice one shows up and the lister doesn't put the word "miquelet" anywhere in the ad.
