VERY nice .40--my current favorite caliber. I very much like the carving. Patchbox elegant inits simplicity, Mike. Very well done.

Thanks. It is actually the gun I built while doing my tutorial on how to build a gun. It has been for sale on Track of the Wolf for the past week. I see it isn't on there this morning, so it must have sold.

Nice looking gun, Mike.  Do you recall where the guard came from?  I have a project where with some work, this guard might do.  I'm trying to avoid having to make a pattern and casting one.

Thanks,
Jim

Superlative!  I like it a lot.  A real tribute to those early makers.

Very nice Mike.   A little more elegant than the gun that inspired it.

Anyone know Reaves's offerings well enough to identify what number this guard is?  I've looked at some photos of his selection but can't seem to place it.

Thanks!

I wanted to take another look at this particular gun so I typed Mike Brooks into the search box to locate it and it took me quite awhile to get to it because I was checking out everyone of his guns that came up before it. I like them all. Not overdone and very believable. Great body of work. Ken Gahagan
