F. Beerstecher turn barrel

Hello - I am trying to get any information on this rifle. I'll  post pictures later. Tiger striped stock with simple cap box. F. Beerstecher is stamped on the lock. Rifled turn/swivel barrels, single ram rod.

Welcome to the list and I'm sure we all look forward to the pictures of the rifle you'll hopefully be able to post.  In the meantime, you might want to go to the library section and click on "The Schools of the Upper Susquehanna."  Beerstecher worked in Lewisburg, Pa. and his work varied quiet a bit.  I've seen some of his guns that show that he was a fine craftsmen while others are somewhat on the crude side.
