turned out not to bad and i even like it, a bit darker than what i wanted but i can live with it,what save me, before i stain, i wet the bag and this is where i got in a bit of trouble make sure to have an extremely clean work place vinegar stain is touchy stuff anything wet that it touches it will leave a dark stain. I leave the bag air dry a few minutes than add the stain this way it seems to not leave that line of uneven color spread because of the wet leather, and i put on the stain . I mix a bit of wood alcohol to the stain , when a saw that the vinegar had left stain marks at different places , i thin even more the stain with the alcohol and i gave it a few good rubs on the spots and let sit. Has it dried everything mixed well the black seem to just mix with the rest instead of black spots i have dark tones. Voila
