Johann Valtin Bader
« on: February 10, 2014, 01:59:00 AM »
Johann Valtin Bader was a gunsmith in Zella Germany in the middle 1700s. My 5th great grandfather was born there in 1749 and Johann Valtin Bader was the sponsor at his baptisim. I have not been able to find much out about Bader. The website for the city of Zella lists him as a gunsmith but no other info. Has anyone here seen any guns or photos of guns made by him?
Thank you, Mark Poley

There is a national collectors organization of either German or Jaeger rifles. Perhaps yopu can google them and get info. I did with my Jaeger and learned abit about the maker.
