I must have missed your earlier post on the rifle, it and your equipment is very nice. Thanks for posting.

I'm impressed that a fellow enthusiast in a far country would be so excited about our Fur Trade era here in North America. Nicely done.

I really like that fur shooting pouch. What animal was it made from?
Also, what is the "T" shaped device just below the rifle, which the turtle shaped ball holder is pointed toward?

Im guessing the T handled tool is a nipple wrench, but that is just a guess. As an avid pipe smoker I will say it pains me to see your clay pipe is clearly unused.  Put some ginny weed in that baby and it will color up nicely.  Why cary a pipe if you do not smoke one?

Piotr -CZ,

Curiosity compels me to ask if any of your trade beads are original Polish or Czech trade beads from the 19th century or even earlier?

I salute you for investing the time to make or remake your gear.  I imagine you are kind of lonely in this hobby over there?

I don't know the game laws in Poland.  Are you able to hunt with your rifle there?

Best wishes,
Gus

From the original corals have only a "Russian Blue", "Medicine Man", "Feather"

Contrary to appearances, I am not so very alone. We are a group of Northern Trail, sometimes we meet, teeth shoot or sit by the fire.

In Poland you can not hunt with black powder weapons

I can only imagine how difficult it is to acquire some of this stuff in Europe that we take for granted in the US. You have assembled a very nice collection of old timey things.

You're right, it is not easy, especially when importing some stuff from the U.S. is quite expensive for us, even though it sometimes allows himself to order several books and most necessary materials...
Fortunately, most of the items I manage to do yourself  :)

Piotr,

It is pleasing to read you have some original beads from your country or your area. You are carrying around some of your own country's or area's history that way.   I assume original beads can be very expensive and/or hard to get.  Years ago I had a few original beads, but only wore them for special occasions.

Glad to hear you have friends in the hobby as well.  Best wishes to all of you.
Gus
