Basics of traditional muzzleloading dvd needed....
« on: March 21, 2014, 03:22:47 AM »
Hey Folks,

I'm a hunters ed instructor and I have a few classes scheduled this year and I'd like to bring the program into the 21st Century and use my laptop and a projector instead of a vhs tape and tv.  Does anyone know of a good dvd I can purchase for the class that shows the basics of how to load and fire a traditional muzzleloader and or any of the other fun things we do with the guns we love?

Thanks for any help,

Billy

Have you checked with the NMLRA? I know they used to put out info and books on hunter saftey, they might be doing dvd's now too.

Thank you, I sent Joyce Vogel and email, maybe they have something I can use.  Would love to have some handouts as well from the NMLRA.  I always bring a gun I built to classes.  I am finally in charge of my own classes so now I can do it my own way....within the guidelines of course but as lead instructor it makes life a lot easier.

Thank you again,

Billy

I think that TC put out such a DVD and I may have one at home.  If I do, it is yours.  I will check over the weekend and let you know. Then you can let me know where to send it to.

Thoughts on Loading & Firing a Flintlock Rife ( DVD )

By Don Bruton

Sometimes you can find this dvd on ebay. Or you can buy it right from his web-site.
