I always thought that making the over the comb tang for an E TN rifle was the hard part; showing metal working skill etc....   Well, now I know it is the in-letting that will drive you nuts.   The forge work is the easy part.

You are so right about that.
I think that the only reason they did those was " Showing Off "
I did two rifles like that a long time ago and really don't want to do another

Its also fun when you take the barrel out to brown it and have to put it back in
