Where and what books are available with pictures and details about the Early Va rifles.
 Links to Websites would be helpful also.
If you have a Va rifle I would like to see the pictures.

The best source for info on early VA rifles is Rifles of Colonial America by George Shumway, the Journal of Historical Armsmaking Technology Vol 2. published by the NMLRA,   and Gunsmiths of Virginia and Longrifles of Virginia  by Dr. James Whisker.    There are also articles in past Muzzle Blasts by Wallace Gusler.    If you have specific questions,  then you should contact Wallace Gusler.   He has 40 years worth of data sheets and photos of Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee longrifles.   He has been working on a book, but I have given up on it ever being published.    If I need specific info on a rifle,  I just ask him.   If you have a particular interest, let me know, and I will direct you to a resource.

I would second the KRA's Shenandoah CD - 21 rifles - high quality pics that you can blow up, scale etc.

The CD is however only representative of the Shenandoah area but when you have examples of a Haymaker,  a couple of Lauck, a couple of Sheets(z), just to name a few, what else could you want?  ;D
