Help/Suggestions/Criticism
« on: February 12, 2009, 02:29:09 AM »
I did not what to hijack Robert Wolfe's thread on carving but I did want to say something about getting help/suggestions/ideas. The comments on that thread are great, they are the type that caught my eye when I first found this site, honest constructive criticism and suggestions to correct or improve whether it be on a finished piece or a work in progress. I for one am glad to see it. Not jumping on someone for mistakes or useless smart remarks but helpful comments and encouragement, I thought they were gone or maybe feelings had been hurt,
You cannot grow/improve without knowledge and the base here is unbelievable.

Well, I was very happy with the feedback I got from asking for carving design help. It was exactly what I was looking for and helped me tremendously. That kind of honest feedback is one of the key things that makes this so great.
