newest horn

I finished the engraving on this horn last night.  All that's left to do is to turn down the spout plug to fit.  The horn is 10' along the longest curve and 3" wide at the base.  The base plug is purpleheart.  It was intended to be a bag horn so no staple in the base plug.

That's a very nice horn there Mark. I really like the borders but all in all, it was very well executed.

Mark I love this horn. I especially like the very formal look to the script and the ribbons. A very classy look.
 A very visually pleasing horn.

Super horn. Your scrim is outstanding.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

If you have not seen Mark's work in person, you really can't appreciate his level of work on his scrim. I wouldn't use the term scrim or engraving. These are too coarse to describe his work. More like a photo. All I can say is Wow.
Oh yea, It came today and I'm blown away. Thanks Mark. Yours is coming Fed-Ex. I hope you like mine as much as I like yours.
