Good day on the range!
« on: January 27, 2015, 08:41:06 PM »
Yesterday I was sighted in my .58cal and once I got the last shot to hit center I decided to swap over to minuteman patch lube as the patches had finally dried out enough to where they were just right. A light swabbing between shots with Mr.flintlock patch lube- bore cleaner.

100 yards
.570 round ball
100gr goex 2f
.020" patch

Good group - the larger the bore the easier it is.

That is why there are .69 calibre bench-rest, false muzzled rifles, shooting 200gr. or more powder.

Deer Creek products. I think its about 2 years old now and a couple thousand shots through it. My best rifle I've owned to date so far.
