Very nice bag by Eric Fleisher on the Blog this morning

In my opinion Eric did an outstanding job with this shot pouch/bag. Quoting Eric:

"I attached some photos of [my] 100th shot pouch.  It is based on the German dew claw bags.  This one has whitetail deer dew claws on the front flap.  The rings and strap buckle are leather covered like many of the older original German bags."

Wonderful bag. I do think I would have a problem hanging head shot Squirrels from it though.

I can tell you from seeing it in person and handling it that it is one of the most genuine looking and feeling as well as perfectly scaled accoutrements I've ever seen.

Eric.... Your pouch was the first thing I looked at this morning besides the snow and my beautiful wife. Your work on this piece is exquisite and one of the most detailed that I have seen. I'm like Tim, in the thought of hanging a head shot squirrel on such a nice hunting bag. Beautiful work and thanks for sharing.

Kind Regards

I have not had a chance to go to the blog today. Just looked at the link and checked it out. Right on the money! Good job Eric.

I like the bag and my favorite details are the leather covered rings and buckles.  I tried doing some small buckles a while ago - what a pain?  Maybe this gives me enough inspiration to try again.  I do dislike having metal exposed which could rub on  rifles and horns while moving through the woods.  Always thought a good long hunter should be concerned about metallic clinks in critical encounters when he was either stalking an animal or avoiding hostiles.

I'd say your work is beyond reproach.  Those are super nice.
