Three Smaller Horns

  The top one is about 9" Tip To Tip (TTT), 2 at the Pine base. With two applied tips.

  Two is a little smaller, the Pic makes it look bigger than it is, 6" TTT. Pine base is 1 3/4"
  applied tip.

  Three is 5 1/2" TTT, once again the Pic makes it look larger, the Apple wood base is about
  1 3/4", applied horn tip.

Neat!  I really like the top one, but I'm digging the direction you've been going in your horn work lately, some really cool stuff, especially the applied tips and layered look.

Tim,
It is nice that you lined up the pictures in order of my most favorite to least.  All are cute little horns.  I was on Billy Griner's web site a bit ago and got inspired with one of his little horns.  I have one sitting in my horn tub that is small and severely twisted and curved.  Could be next.

Neat direction Tim.  I agree that the top one is my favorite, and I think it is because of the visible pegs.  A great look. 

Is the "flower petal" double tip a creation of yours, or is it in Grant's book or similar?

 Yes, there is a horn made from two different horns in Grant's book, Powder Horns & Their Architecture   , Pg 76. The same horn, if I am not mistaken, is Figure 22 in
Michael Briggs' Piedmont North Carolina Banded Powder Horns Hunting Bags & Bullet Molds
 I have seen scallops on other horns, Grant Pg 84 but none were the two were combined, doesn't mean they are not out there.

 Like this WIP (Waiting on some great inspiration to finish it :D) The pix are larger than the horn, it is 3.5" TTT & 7 around the curve.

Cute raw horn there Tim.  Lot of curve on a short horn....almost like a bison.
