Hawken Question

  In the book,The Hawken Rifle by Charles Hanson pg32,there is an order from J Bridger 1842.

   What do we know about this rifle?I know his S Hawken is well documented, but that was a later rifle.
    Are there any photos of the 1842 rifle? And wouldnt a rifle from 1842 be called a J and S.

 In the Hanson book, THE HAWKEN RIFLE: IT'S PLACE IN HISTORY, on pg. 36 it says. "We know from the accounts that Bridger bought a $33.00 J&S Hawken rifle in 1842 and his last rifle was a half-stock S. Hawken. He carried it to Ft. Kerney and sold it about 1866 to an interpreter for the Crows. It's now in the Montana State historical Society collections."
I'm not sure anybody knows what happened to the J&S Hawken.
If it's still around I'm sure one of the gentlemen on this site will know.
