Great link. Over on ABE books there are some older editions for cheap money. 26th edition is a couple hundred but the older editions are $20-30 . free shipping for those on the bottom half of the continent.
IIRC the MARK's standard engineering handbook/manual might contain all Oberg's info and can be had for pocket change in older editions even though the latest edition probably costs $100-200. I have picked up a number of editions including the 1919 for under 10 bucks. Just do not drop it on your toe! 1800 pages. Ends questions about heat treating, material properties, machining, pressures in cylinders, corrosion and oh yeah how to design, fuel and build a nuclear sub (196x edition).... or in the older editions it will tell you exactly how much snow your wife should be able to shovel in a 12 hour work day or how many strokes of the rasp it takes to remove 10 thou of african mahogany.
