Does anyone have any info on an English gunmaker by this name?

My records show two gunmakers in England working in Cumbria these are James and William.Murdock The name Murdock is more associated to Scotland there was Alexander working Edinburgh,James Murdock shop in Inverness , John Murdock  shop in Doune, Thomas Murdock shop in Leith, all of these Scottish maker made all metal pistols  My records do not show any P Murdock
