Wonderful work!  I'm not a spike hawk fan but those are both real nice.  Thanks for posting.

Super stuff, nice light handles too.  Do you start with a ballpeen hammer, or square stock?

Rich,These were made from round stock salvaged from an oil coil spring. About 1 inch dia. stock.

The forge work is splendid and the handle finish reminds me of a nice gun stock.  Good work.
