English Walnut, where to get?
« on: August 10, 2015, 11:28:17 PM »
I am in need of some English Walnut, of the plainest and most straight grained variety, to make some patches out of for some repairs. Where do you guys get your EW?

Hi,
Dunlap is very good but I also second Jerry's mention of Goby.  They are also very nice folks to work with and they post a lot of their blanks on line so you can get a view.

I got a nice English walnut pistol blank from Dunlap for not much more than $20.   It had some nice figure in the butt area.   Actually, I still have it.   I decided not to use it for the purpose for which I purchased it.    I have the parts to make a nice little English style pistol. Who knows if and when I actually will.

Thank you everyone, Dunlap had just what I needed, emailed me some really good pictures of several blanks after I described what I was looking for.
