Finally got er buttoned up/PICS ADDED

  It took two and a half weeks and a sprained knee to get it done,  but  I got er  did.
  One thing I definately have to learn is how to sharpen up my flints.  She sparks well.  I hate to say it but I do believe i'm going the route of a touchhole liner.  Jim Chambers expect a call.

I made this little tool out of a piece of brass to knap flints with. Just rest the groove on the dull flint edge and give it a whack with the butt of your knife or short starter or something. It'll break it off sharp enough to skin a fish.
