Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

These pinwheels are not much different from the "hex signs" we see on barns back east, so even modern Christians feel the need to keep evil at bay.

I love drawing these things. The most recent literature on fraktur, which includes these symbols, opines that all this stuff is strictly decorative. I always thought that there was some older meaning somewhere. If anyone wants any nice, colorful pinwheels or stars, I've got them.
