If youfind that GM and TC are both either out of barrels or don't make them, try the dreaded b;ack hole called eBay. They ususally have a few listed in various prices. Unfortunatley sometimes you have to use the only source available.

I thought Track Of The Wolf listed smooth barrels by GM, for Lyman's and TC's. www.trackofthewolf.com

Track of the wolf told me 2 days ago that green mountain is busy with a government contract making AR15 barrels ,but that contract ends this june and afterwards will start production of black powder barrels again. Right now finding a TC barrel from anyone is more scarce than gold. And yes, ebay is the only way to find one right now.

Thanks for the info.  My friend was able to get a 15/16 28ga  from green mountain.  His son is going to turkey hunt with this spring.  wish him luck!
