Looks pretty fair so far.  Have you ever considered using pins to hold the barrel in instead of those rubber things?

Careful when you hammer in the nails so that they don't go into the bore.

There is nothing cool about electricians tape, however, camo tape; now that is cool.  ;D

Roger, I see you are useing those cast -engraved parts. Are you useing the t-guard and b-plate also? Do they finish out nicely?? I would like to see them finished as I am planning to use them also. Thanks, Ed

I spied a v similar trikker guard on an original and started the search for parts for this new smoothy (steel mounted) Finally found the guard (tip Curtis) side plate was actually a 2nd choice for a plainer plate that I already had but didn't fit (too high on the panel)  Butt plate has no lines cast in!  Guard took quite a bit of smoothing work and several sessions to set in properly (or at least I think it is) ;D
