From the owner... " I did some cleaning on them. They all came from the same place. The brass was so black and corroded that I did not know they were engraved. The wood was black and covered with bird @#$%/!!. I scrubbed lightly and used a little oooo steel wool where needed. They are not refinished, just a little linseed oil added. I forgot to mention that the PB on the York Co. looking one opens by pushing on the middle of the toe plate."

Barrel- 42in.  .465cal. rifled with 7 grooves, good bore.
            Tapered .970in. to .931in.
LOP 13 1/8in.
OAL- 56in.
Lock- Percussion dated 1849 on hammer.
Trigger- DST double action. Fires set or unset.
Butt- 1.399in. x 4.097in.

No idea but it looks nice in the photos.  Might the wood and metal have seen the hands of a "cleaner upper" at work?
