Fowler bags

Hi folks.....I am building a 20 ga fowler, and looking for any info on period correct bags. I have a nice BIG original horn that will fit the bill, but don't know about a bag/ shot tube. The fowler is 1770 period. Any thoughts would be helpful...........Dan Fruth

There really aren't many surviving bags from that period.  Only a handful.  They tend to be small in size.

I dont know much about fowler bags in general but Frank barker made me one several yrs ago that is really nice. Maybe he will jump in an help ya. I have seen a couple more on this site that looked good too but old age has robbed me on the names of the makers
