one thing i failed to mention is the harpers ferry musket i posted in another topic
this musket has a name carved in the stock
samuals with The S being backwards
is this something that most have run across ??
my other musket has the same thing on it only the initials J H with the J being backwards
its a Springfield dated 1842 and converted from flint to percussion
tried to post a pic but cant seem to get it right
