Double Screw-Tip Horn # 2

This one is similar to the one I posted on the 12th. The difference is the horn itself, more twist and curve and the coloring. It is about 14" around the outside curve. The Walnut base is about 2 1/2" and is hollowed out to about an inch and a half to 3/4s the depth, it is held by 4 nails. The two part horn tip and collar are threaded 5/8-11 as is the horn. Again there is a slight flare at the point where the tip fits the neck. Color is from some Brown dye that it was boiled in and Brown shoe polish.

As always Tim, I like your work. Nicely done. Looks like you've found a new style that intrigues you. I've seen some of this style but never in person. Interesting. Not quite sure why it was done except because it could be.
