L&R lock question
« on: April 14, 2016, 03:35:13 AM »
Are all L&R locks stamped with their ID on the inside of the lock plate?

Thanks, Longone

I cannot answer your question directly, however I was once advised by an experienced gun builder (TOF) that if you  purchase a new lock directly from the manufacturer, you know you have a lock that was assembled by them or those employed by them, to their specifications.  Sometimes other vendors may sell a brand of lock assembled by individuals not directly associated with the manufacturer, even though it is new.  Of course, if you buy a second hand locks, other factors may apply.  No warranty is given with this advice, and of course your mileage may vary....  ;)
