British? Or American? lock maker ID

Can anyone identify this lock maker and relative timeframe?  Is this an American lock maker or a british trade lock?  I have never heard of this lock maker before.  Appears to be "KENYON WARRANTED".  This is on what appears to be a Berks County rifle.  It was converted from flint and was the gun's original lock.  Thanks!

Edward Kenyon of London became a gunmaker starting around 1700 per Gunmakers of London, but the lock looks much later than that. Perhaps it was manufactured by one of his grandsons?

A very typical Birmingham export trade gun lock.
Even if it had an identifiable "American" name on it, it would be meaningless. They were ordered in bulk, with the names already stamped on them. In fact, the lock plates were case hardened and the name had to be stamped before this was done.
