Engraving Class
« on: June 10, 2016, 04:40:34 PM »
This is the first time that I have posted on here, I have been asked several times to contribute and post, but I am not sure how or what to do and say.
I will say this, if anyone else has any questions, the best way to contact me is by calling me. I have been asked several times to host an engraving class. So, I will be hosting two engraving classes in my shop.  In July, the first is 9th and 10th. The second will be July 23rd and 24th. $150 a day, I will supply lunch for both days. There are 3 motels about 10 miles away.  I will only take two students per class so it will be more one-on-one teaching. In two days, you will learn enough to stay busy in your own shop for a year or more. Those who are interested, please contact me by email at wipingstick@msn.com or call at 573-568-2075. I will try to have one class in the month of August, maybe up to two in September.  Dates to come.
Weekend classes are more affordable and more direct teaching.

That would be a great class. Do you have to have prior experience with engraving? What about tools?

Sounds like a great opportunity, but I have the same problem as with all the other classes I see.  Summer I'm working and fall is hunting season.  Not to mention 20 hour one way drive (aren't you in Missouri?).  Keep us posted for any dates farther out, a trip in April combined with a few days of turkey hunting would make a worthwhile drive!!   ;)

To make this clear for everbody, Chuck Edwards is the original poster of this topic and you honestly could not find a better teacher to learn from. He is located about 30 mins outside Cape Girardeau Missouri. I have taken classes with Chuck and you could not ask for a better teacher. It is good to see you on the forum Chuck!
