« on: June 30, 2016, 03:25:19 AM »
Well it has been awhile since I had a good day with no interruptions when working in the shop so I was able to get some horns done started making and didn't stop till I got to my third one  which is the white one ..

I'd say it was a very productive day. Nice horns. I really like them all, but the white one is really nice. Ti.

If I ever had a whole day in the shop with no interruptions I would be afraid the rapture happened and I was the only one left behind.

They look Great Ed, well done, the turnings are just right. That's quite a production rate.

Ed,
Great lathe work on those spouts!
Also love the color on the top one, the proportions of the middle one, and the butt on the bottom one!

The only reason my production rate can be like that is two lathes One is used to turn the base of the horn and tip I after that I and able to turn rasp them down and scrape and sand then make the base plug stain and let them dry while turning bands and spouts  if I had a third lathe I could do it even faster no tear down and setting up .. now I am a lot slower when it comes to other style horns

Glad to see you back up and running strong. They are all great horns but I would have to say I'm partial to the middle one. If you hadn't spoiled me with a couple of earlier horns I'd be making you an offer.

Tim,
Some other lucky person got it. Didn' even realize it was listed. Between the two of you there are some awfully nice horns out there.
