I thought this horn unique because of the neck treatment and the Pewter tip. The example I used is shown in Sibley's
Building The Southern Banded Powder Horn in the "Gadler-Chadwick Collection".
The horn itself is about 11" around the outside curve. The Walnut Butt is Hollowed out about 3/4s its length, it is held in place by 8 pins. The tip is pewter, it was poured, attached to the horn with 3 pins and shaped. Color is AF and Brown shoe polish.
I must have taken 20 Pix just to get these two that are not the best. It will be on the table at Lexington.
