Hey Paul, Just to name a few; spit, neatsfoot oil, bear oil, murphy's oil soap in water, lard, mutton tallow, bear grease, mink oil and more comercial products than you can shake a stick at. Try several and see what the rifle likes.

Right now I'm using 50/50 tracks mink oil and bear lard for my hunting rifle. 20/1000 patch and it shoots and loads great.

I use Mink Oil for hunting and Hoppes BP Lube for everything else.
