Subject: Green River Rifle Works Collectors Association [GRRW.CA] is up and running.

Good afternoon folks.

This is an update about this project [GRRW.CA] that several though wouldn't work.

In November 2015 old friends & former members of GRRW (Green River Rifle Works) started talking about the good memories of this firm now closed for decades. A website was built & before long Buck Conner (GRRW dealer) & Ron Paull (former employee of GRRW) started talking about an idea they had been kicking around for years. The idea of regrouping old employees & building had been a dream by both men.

Doc White, Carl Walker, Les Bennett and Ron Paull liked the idea and the process of "Building One Gun At A Time" became our motto and we started. Other former employees are watching how this new way of building guns works before coming on board.

By January 2016 the project was under way & the first rifle was ordered with former first employee of GRRW doing the honors. This first rifle was to be built like what had been produced in the day, a Leman Trade Rifle (1/2 stock percussion gun).

NOT ASSOCIATED WITH OTHERS
"GRRW Collectors Association" is referred to as "GRRW CA". These guns built are not products of the old firm of GRRW (which has been closed for decades). Our gunsmiths are custom gunsmiths, once employed by GRRW. There is no connection to GRRW other than their status as former employees of that firm. GRRW CA is not connected to these groups other than sharing old information of the past: “GRRW”, “GRRW Collector” or “GRRW Collectors Association” websites, or the “Green River Gazette” newsletter.

GRRW CA PROCESS
We at are just a source for those desiring an excellent copy of the original guns of the old firm. At GRRW your first contact is our business person who can answer any questions you may have.

GRRW CA are builders of custom made muzzle loading firearms. "Building One Gun At A Time" is our motto & the way business is done.

When ordering a firearm your name is placed on the “Customer Waiting List”. When the next GRRW CA available gunsmith has finished his last build you will be contacted to start the process.

If you change your mind letting us know to remove your name, no problem because there's ...

NO Deposits or NO Backorders.

GRRW CA - MISSION STATEMENT & DISCLAIMER
Businesses & organizations have been similarly inspired by GRRW.  For example, many old memories are enjoyed, & stories shared, at the "GRRW Collectors Association", "GRRW Collector" websites & in the "Green River Gazette" newsletter, but there is no connection to GRRW other than fond memories, & shared stories.  The "GRRW Collectors Association" & the "GRRW Collector" are just as the names suggests, a "Collectors Association," "GRRW Collector" & the "Green River Gazette" newsletter are excellent sources of articles of the old firm; none of the entities bears any connection to the original firm of GRRW.  These organizations are of collectors or enthusiasts.  They are not businesses, & are not connected in any way to the past operations of the original firm of GRRW.

PRICING
Each transaction is between the smith and the client, with the client buying the parts for the gun, these parts will be from the highest quality source that the smith knows and trusts. You do not want to buy the cheapest with the poorest quality supplies, which compromises what your smith can do. Quality is the hallmark of the product. This is an agreement between the smith and the client on parts, simply because they shape the gun and agreement in the building process. The smith is in control, specifying which parts he is willing to work with, recommending the supplier to the client, the purchasing of quality products that the smith knows will work for a quality product.

The agreement between the gunsmith and the client needs to be understood that if the client changes his/her mind on building the project and it has started. The supplies (parts) will not be returned because of time spent and work involved up to this point in the build. If the smith decides to opt out, example: problems between the client and smith, then the parts will be returned. If the client has not paid for the smith’s labor and shipping costs the gun will stay with the smith until this has been completed and agreed upon.

The parts kits are subject to change in costs per our suppliers. The same with labor charges from one year to the next. Remember these are custom built guns like our motto states. "Building One Gun At A Time". Not the cookie cutter firearms that larger manufacturers are producing.

If you have a gun in the process of being built, it will stay at the labor charge quoted at the time of that build. It will not be changed if there was a price increase.
