Do you mean that the front trigger isn't hitting the sear bar since you backed the triggers out? If so, you will have to put them back in deeper. The problem with that is that at some point, the rear trigger holds the sear open. Is that the problem you were having when the triggers were in deep. If so, I solve that problem by installing a limiting screw under the end of the rear trigger spring. This was not an issue with the original double set triggers as they rarely had a bar on the front trigger to trip the sear. It is really hard to setup triggers and locks so that both triggers work well. You either need to bend up the sear bar or install the limit screw in the trigger.
