hopefully someone here may have a contact who could either produce or turn down a barrel for me,
we are looking to replace a barrel on a French 1822 carbine . however the owner would like to have it in a smaller rifled bore then the original
I have not contacted Ed Rayl yet but I did contact Colerain thinking they may have a suitable barrel since the produce barrels from the rifle shop.
best they could do was a rifled barrel blank .
Oregon barrel only goes to 1 inch in diameter and we need a 1 3/16 at the breech tapering to 3/4 in 30 inchs
myself I don't have a lathe large enough to do a 30 inch barrel .
anyone have any ideas ?
