Reading Ed Wenger's thread this morning on his Winchester style patchbox release mechanism reminded me that I was fortunate enough a while back to disassemble and photograph a similar release on a rifle attributed to Jacob Lauck. This rifle was loaned to me specifically so I could study the release mechanism for my current Sheetz build.
