North Carolina Longrifle Program - The Rowan School
« on: March 08, 2017, 12:58:12 AM »
I have been invited by the Rowan History Club and the Rowan Museum to give my program and exhibit on the The Rowan Longrifle School.  The program will be held at 7 P.M., Tuesday, March 14th at the Rowan Museum at 202 N. Main Street in Salisbury.  I am inviting anyone that owns a rifle from this school to please bring it for exhibit.  This will be the largest exhibit of these rare rifles for collectors to study. The event is free.

Love to be there, but not a part of my reality. :-\

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Really, sort of a long drive.

Michael, you should to a CD of the presentation, I'll bet there are a lot of folks that would like to see it.
I do realize that is a lot of work.

Mr. Briggs,

That sounds like a wonderful opportunity.  I wish I weren't so far away.  Thank you for offering this program and exhibit, and inviting us to attend.

Any recording would have to be by the museum and the DVD would be their property, not mine.

Buck,
I will not be at the KRA meeting in June.  Nancy and I are going to the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England in June.  We are also going to visit Normandy on this trip to visit Mont St. Michel and walk the D-Day battlefields.  I will be at the Baltimore Antique Gun Show this weekend and will be at Wayne Elliott's Knoxville KRA show in April with all of the books.

Thanks,

Michael
