Just want to give a positive shout out to L&R Locks  for some excellent service. I had ruined a flint lock plate thru no fault but my own and after talking and getting advice sent it in. installed the old frizzen on a new plate in no time at all at modest cost.

My experiences with L&R have been excellent.I used the externals from 3 of their flintlocks
to make locks with my own styles of mechanisms and they've been more than fair.
Several years ago I ordered some parts for a project, sent a check and forgot the transaction.
A few months later Bill Cox sent me a check for almost $14 and said he'd made an error on that
order and had over charged me by mistake. That's gives them an AA+ in my opinion.

I have had the same good service and quick turnaround on a lock I sent back a couple of times. The problem is; if they had a little better QC before they sent a lock out as finished and ready for a customer my lock never would have been sent back in the first place.
