But how does she shoot? Accurate out to 10 yards?  ;D

All kidding aside, that is beautiful work!

Andrei well done. I'd even bet there might be a market for such little guns.  Oldtravler

Adrie,
I am glad to see that you finally posted some of your work on ALR.  I have known that you are a great craftsman,
and now all my friends on  ALR know it also.

I have been e mailing Adrie for the last couple of years, and swapping pictures.  We have become good friends
and we have never met in person.    All because of muzzleloading rifles.  Thats one of the reasons that i love this sport, I have made so many friends, all with the same thing in common.

I am going to post some pictures of something that Adrie sent me as a present just recently .  I know it is not
a muzzleloader but I am going to post it any way.

Gifted for sure! It's amazing to be able to make these to scale with such accuracy!

How does the crossbow shoot Dave  ;) ?
All of my muzzleloaders will shoot into one ragged hole ALL DAY LONG ... it's just the 2nd or 3rd & other shots that tend to open up my groups ... !

Adrie,

Very fine work! Seeing you start with chunks of metal and ending up with things of such beauty and function made me think of the recent posts of Randy Steffy, and then I read that he had offered advice! Given your Dutch-imposed constraints, you seem to be doing as well as we North Americans in recreating our history. You know a 17th Century Dutch musket fits in American history, too!

Thanks for sharing your impressive works.

He David,

I recognize the crossbow! I had never thought it would be seen on the internet.
I am still proud you call me your friend, you gave me a lot of inspiration.

Adrie,
There are some very talented builders on this Forum, and now you are one of them.

Flint62Smoothie,
When Adrie sent that cross bow to me he said,  "Be careful, this is not a toy."  I haven't fired it yet, but the
next time I go Moose hunting I will take it with me for back up.

I want to thank everyone on ALR for welcoming Adrie on the Forum.  I know that he appreciates it.

As you have mentioned David, with over 3000 signed up on this forum and very talented craftsmen from all over this globe this is indeed the world wide web. Just being a spectator here is rewarding. Thanks to all for sharing. With those 3000 plus members we also have that many different personalities. As members and spectators we git to share a little bit of the different cultures because of the ALR. Thank you Dennis and all the moderators for bringing this to us.

Today it is a sunny day! I made some pictures in the full sunlight. Thanks for all your reactions and I keep following everybody!
Slowly it becomes time to start building a new rifle on scale.

That looks exactly like David's - I had the honor of holding that rifle at his shop - and you did a fantastic job in recreating it - and yes - being friends with David is a wonderful thing -

Keep up the great work - enjoying your builds and designs very much!!! -

Fantastic work - love it ;) I have a hard enough time building full size guns let alone try to build miniatures ;D
