 should the craving at entry pipe to the same as on the rear of tang? just wondering

It should be some stylistic variation of your overall theme that could incorporate elements from the tang area. It is an aesthetic choice and you get to make the call.

On many of the rifles that I like the most the two areas have similar designs, but not necessarily the same.
