Renegade replacement stock
« on: August 04, 2017, 04:18:29 AM »
Hello friends,

I have a T/C Renegade in .54 caliber.  It has the factory 1:66" twist for PRB's.  I really like the way it shoots.  I just can't get past the stock.  The previous owner added a shotgun style recoil pad.

I like the looks of the Lyman GPR stock and I would like the same appearance for my Renegade.

Where can I buy a stock that resembles the Plains rifle but that would accommodate my T/C hardware?

I have found one that looks like it may work at Pecatonica River.  Is this a viable option?  Have any of you guys done anything similar?

Any guidance or suggestion welcome.

Thanks in advance for your time,

Steve in N CA

Send me a private message with your email and I can send pics of a rifle I put together from a pectonia rifle stock.   Not up to speed on posting pics without Photobucket as of yet..can give you insight on the build as well..
