Looks Like a HM to me, better than most. I thoroughly enjoy the backwards front site.

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

I recently put my front sight on that way. So now when someone says it’s backwards I’ll just say I was copying Hacker Martin.

.... Thanx, Shreck for these photos .....SHOW MORE...!!! (HaHa) ... nice rifle ... Some folk bash Hacker's work, and true, I have seen some of the stuff he did in his old age, and considering his age & his shop (I've been in it) wonder it looked that good ... !!! ... this pistol is an example of his earlier work, prior to the passing of Lester who was a master engraver .... One well known builder who was a friend of Hacker's told me that he didn't sign the guns that he made for Turner Kirkland to sell through Dixie Gun Works back in the 1950's ... anyway, it's quite well made ....

Hey Mike,
That is a VERY early Baughman Ramp front sight......like 100 years early. ;-)
Heh, heh. Best wishes, and God Bless, Marc

Certainly better than the ONLY HM pistol I've ever seen which was not
even usable due to a worse than awful lock.
