I am posting this at the request of a friend and ALR member.

Here's a rifle by Mike Gahagan, recently finished for an ALR member.  The new owner will take delivery at the TN/KY Longrifle Show in Knoxville.  Enjoy.

Specifications
Barrel: oct/round .60 cal. by Rice barrel co. 40 inches long.
Lock: Chambers Dale Johnson built w/o bridle by L C Rice and further modified by Mike.
Hardware: buttplate and triggerguard castings from Larry Zornes (Mold and Gun Shop) rest made by Mike.
Stock: excellent piece of hard figured walnut from Nathan Cox at Harrison Gunstocks.

I think he will.😊 Gonna be a fancy hog rifle. Be fun to kill one with it. The Tn/Ky show will be slow getting here now.

Mr. Gahagan did a superb job of building there.  Really like the figure engraving on the TG and BP.  Classy rifle!

Wonder if those hogs are just dying to get shot by that beautiful rifle?  LOL!

I always like the early guns.  Mike did his usual flawless work of putting this together. Great piece and I especially like the walnut stock and the engraving.  I bet Mike had to hold his hand back to not "improve" it.
