Question of barrel weight

If you had an original wrought iron barrel and made an exact copy of it it a modern alloy like 12L14, Wouldn't the new one weigh more?
How much more? Would it be noticeable in the finished gun?

Online resources show the same density of 7.87grams per cubic centimeter for iron and 12L14 steel.
