I can't imagine owning one of these guns and actually parting with it. I belive I would have buried with me! I can't imagine the pain in letting it go.

You're not going to believe or understand this, but there are people who use these beautiful creations as an investment - a way to increase their wealth.  Or a way to acquire another that is even more valuable, so they can increase their wealth even further...und so weider!

Hmm, some of those cost about what my college tuition is... I wonder how important college actually is.  I love that Armstrong rifle.

Lot 567 has me confused.  I'm pretty sure it's a fake.  The tomahawk head is identical to the "English pattern" hawk that Davis makes.  I'm holding it in my hand and the details and measurements are exact.  Or... was this just a standard pattern that lots of hawks followed, and the Davis casting is an exact copy?
